Now I’ve heard of babies cooing and squealing when they’re happy. Mine doesn’t do this she screams, shrieks and sometimes growls. Apparently this is how she expresses her happiness to the world. I love that she is so happy and the noises she makes, but I’m a bit concerned the neighbours may think our daughter is feral. Also loud. Did I mention how loud she is? It’s quite impressive that such a big noise comes out of such a little person.

She finds happiness in the oddest things. Boxes. Eating books. Stealing the glasses off my face. Banging the table of the High Chair. Having clothes shaken at her (not put on her you understand – she just likes seeing them). I could go on. Babies, my baby at least, see the world in weird and wonderful ways. I kind of envy the happiness she finds in such simple things. Though I’m still baffled by her love of watching me brush my hair…
